Transportation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the conference venue.

► Arrival at Brussels National Airport (Zaventem, Brussels)
The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). The Airport Express train stops at Gare du Nord, Gare Centrale and Gare du Midi  (20 min, one-way ticket costs €8.40). 

Arrival at Brussels South Charleroi Airport (Charleroi, CLR)
The Brussels City Shuttle goes directly to Gare du Midi, 1 hour, one-way ticket €13, return ticket €22).


Directions to Flagey

► From De Brouckère
From De Brouckère take bus 71, direction ‘Delta’, stop at ‘Flagey’ (12 stops).

► From Gare Centrale
From Gare Centrale take bus 71, direction ‘Delta’, stop at ‘Flagey’ (9 stops) or take bus 38, direction ‘Heros’, stop at ‘Flagey’ (10 stops).

► From Gare du Midi
From Gare du Midi take Tram 81, direction 'Montgomery', stop at Flagey (12 stops).


PUBLIC TRANSPORT INFORMATION

Metro bus and tram tickets can be purchased either at staffed windows or from vending machines.

FARES:

Single fare: 2,10 €  -  entitles you to 1 journey, with the possibility to change between lines. Valid in metros, trams and buses of STIB-MIVB

10 journeys JUMP: 14,00 € - To purchase this ticket, you need to be in possession of a personal MOBIB or MOBIB Basic. This card cost 5 € and can be obtained at staffed windows in metro stations.

Transport tickets must be validated every time the user boards or connects to a metro, bus or tram. You should revalidate your ticket for each new ride and whenever you change between lines. (In the latter case, you will not be charged if you are within the one-hour window).
